The article summarizes the results of publication of the journal “Territorial Development Issues” in 2017. Analysis of the journal’s issues has been conducted in the following areas: the share of articles by foreign contributors, geographical distribution of foreign authors, the number of articles of specialists of the highest scientific qualification in the total number of publications, the Journal’s position in the Russian Science Citation Index (RINTs) ranking. The results of a questionnaire survey of the journal’s readers were summarized separately. The research results have shown that during 2017 the Journal published 40 scientific articles from authors from three Federal districts, one Federal City and one foreign state. Analysis has shown that the number of publications by authors outside Vologda Research Center amounted to 31.2% (in 2016, this figure was lower and amounted to 21.4%), the share of articles from specialists of highest scientific qualifications in 2017 comprised 60% of the total number of publications (in 2016 – 52.4%).
